Do you not have time to pick up your library books during our open hours? Do you want to make picking up your holds quick and easy? Try our new Outside Book Locker located near the library doors on the parking lot side!
To put a book on hold for outside pickup there are a couple of options:
- Use the app – find the book that you would like to put on hold and when you request the item, select the Hankin Outside Locker as where you would like to pick up from.
- Use the website – login using your library card number and PIN, find the book that you would like to put on hold and when you request the item, select Hankin Outside Locker as your pickup location
Holds will stay in the Outside Book Locker for 48 hours after you are notified that they are ready for pickup. To access your items in the Book Locker you can scan either your physical or digital library card or type in your card number by pressing the keyboard icon. Once you’ve entered your card number on the integrated screen, the locker corresponding to your account will open and you can retrieve your holds. Each locker can hold up to 9 items. You can choose to print a receipt, email a receipt, or not have a receipt. Please make sure that the locker is completely closed before you leave.
