Book Club in a Bag
About
A Book Club in a Bag from the Henrietta Hankin Branch contains everything you need to host a book discussion group. Bags have 10 copies of the book (plus one large print copy) and a discussion guide. The bags check out for a 6 week period. You can distribute the books at one meeting and collect them at the next meeting after you’ve had your discussion. New titles are added throughout the year.
The bags must be reserved by calling the Adult Reference Desk at the Henrietta Hankin Branch at 610-344-4196. Your library card must be fine free at the time the reservation is made and when the bag is checked out. We will alert you if your card will expire before the end of your reservation. You will want to update your card before the bag is checked out to insure your full 6-week borrowing period.
Bags can be reserved months in advance so your group will know that they’ll have the books they need, when they need them.
Bags must be picked up and returned to the Henrietta Hankin Branch Library.
