2017 Summer Young Adult Volunteer Program

The 2017 Summer Young Adult Volunteer Program begins on Monday, March 6. This is the first day that applications will be accepted for summer volunteering at the Chester County Library and the Henrietta Hankin Branch Library.  Applications received earlier than March 6 will not be considered in order to give everyone equal opportunity to fill a limited number of summer volunteer positions.  Note that applications will be reviewed on a first come/first served basis and you must be at least fourteen years old to apply.

The Young Adult Summer Program provides an opportunity for you to share your talents and skills in a positive way. You can work behind the scenes processing library materials or shelve books; use your organizational skills to help with clerical duties or special projects; demonstrate your creative skills in our Public Relations/Graphics department.  Library volunteering is a great way to fulfill graduation requirements, boost your college resume, and serve your community.  Look for our Summer Volunteer flier in February and see the Young Adult Application form above.

We look forward to hearing from you.
