Auto Repair Source (POWER Library): Discover the most accurate, authoritative and up-to-date service and repair information for thousands of domestic and imported vehicles. All content comes from the Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) and includes step-by-step repair information, diagrams, maintenance schedules, parts and labor estimates, service bulletins and recalls.

MasterFile Premier: Provides subject overviews, full text for magazine articles, an image collection and AP clips. Includes Consumer Reports! Excellent resource for student research and classroom instruction. Information is rich, reliable, and easy-to-use.

Chester County Historical Society: Explore over 300 years of history through rare documents, photographs, and newspapers in the research library, seven galleries filled with engaging exhibitions, and special school and public programs year round.

What is Included in the Databases?

The Chester County Library System (CCLS) provides access to over 30 Electronic Resources covering everything from Car Repair to Genealogy, from a Business Directory to a Language Learning Resource. They also range from searchable indexes with full-text of journal articles or newspaper articles to learning tools, from animated children’s books to complete reference books.

The Pennsylvania Department of Education through the Office of Commonwealth Libraries provides a suite of electronic resources to public libraries and school libraries called the POWER Library. The Chester County Library System, through state funding, provides the remaining resources. Most of the databases are available remotely with the use of a Chester County Library System library card.
