Yoga Story Time
Yoga Story Time is a unique class infused with yoga poses and life lessons for kiddos (and their adults) on and off the mat. Designed for families with children 2-6 years old, this active and playful class uses songs, stories and yoga movements to teach children how to self-regulate, move with confidence and be kind to themselves and others. This 30-minute practice is accessible for all and is offered for free to families in partnership with Exton’s Zia Yoga & Wellness. Please bring a mat or towel for your family.
Registration is required. Caregivers must remain with registered children during the program.

Reading Olympics Book Club
Are you a Reading Olympian? Perhaps you just enjoy reading from our Reading Olympics collection? Join us on Tuesday nights once a month to share your thoughts and feelings about some of the books. Before each meeting, be sure to read the books chosen for that month from beginning to end so you can add your comments to the group discussion. There are so many titles that we won’t get to all of them, but it will be fun to discuss a few of them and do activities that are related to what we read. Children in 3rd grade through 7th are welcome to register and join us each month.
While we won’t be doing specific Reading Olympics drills that prepare you for competition, this book club will certainly add to what you learn at your school sessions.
Registration Required. Caregivers of participants age 11 and under must remain in the Library during the program.

Preschool Programs
1000 Books Before Kindergarten is the perfect family program for children under three. Reading together helps your child develop important pre-reading skills that provide a solid foundation for learning to read, a key to learning and school success. Research has shown that children who listen to stories and look at printed materials from an early age will be more accomplished readers. Plus, sharing stories is fun! Visit the library to pick up a packet. Then, keep on reading!
