I’m the Assistant Supervisor for the Reference Department. I joined the Chester County in November of 2015 as part of my return to Pennsylvania after a nearly 30-year absence. So much has changed in this area, so I’m very excited to get out and explore what’s new (to me) with my family. I started working in libraries during college and really enjoyed it. After several career changes, I went and got my library degree and have never looked back. I love working with the public as I get to meet, and help, a wonderfully diverse group of people.
I’ve always loved books and reading, having discovered the joy of my middle school library in Pottsgrove many years ago. My favorite genres are science fiction and fantasy, although I also enjoy popular science books. When I’m not at the library, or reading a book, I like to spend time with my family and stalk wildlife with my DSLR.
