Growing up in Chester County, the Chester County Library was not only my first library but the one that as an adult I relied on heavily to support my homeschooling efforts. While homeschooling, my girls and I made weekly trips to the Chester County Library and we all became familiar with the wonderful staff and amazing resources available to us. Once the homeschooling chapter of our lives closed, I joined the Circulation Staff and am thrilled to continue to the tradition of excellent service which once served me so well.
One of the aspects of working at the Chester County Library that I most appreciate is being able to observe and participate in the various connections which a library fosters. It is such a joy to see parents meeting in the Children’s Room, professionals networking at business seminars, or customers sharing recommendations while borrowing materials. It’s in the sharing of these experiences and making connections with one another that makes the Chester County Library a very special place for all who enter its doors.
Personally, I gravitate toward watching British television especially the period dramas as well as reading the classics, historical mysteries and narrative non-fiction. If you see me at the check-out desk, please feel free to share your favorites!
