Reading has always been my favorite thing to do. When a good friend found out that I was working at the Chester County Library shortly after I started, he commented, “Of course you’re working at the library. You like books more than anyone I know!” That was back in 2009 and I’ve enjoyed my work at the library ever since! I spent my first five years in Youth Services Department of the Chester County Library, helping to staff the desk, plan and implement story times for two year olds, and create displays to promote books and programs. During this time completed my Master’s Degree in Library Science.

Next, I held the position of Business Outreach Librarian in Reference Department at the Chester County Library. I provided business reference and outreach services to the local business community, library customers, aspiring entrepreneurs, and job seekers. I also helped to staff the Reference Desk, where I enjoyed helping patrons find the information and resources that they were looking for or discover their next favorite book.

I’m now excited to be the Branch Manager of the Henrietta Hankin Branch of the Chester County Library, where I have the pleasure of working with a wonderful staff and serving a great community.

When I’m not at the library I enjoy reading mysteries, realistic fiction and narrative nonfiction. I like listening to audiobooks, both fiction and nonfiction—being able to listen to a good story or learn something new while stuck in traffic makes driving so much more bearable!  I also enjoy knitting, spending time at Hibernia Park with my family, canoeing on the Brandywine, and traveling with family and friends.
