Lois Shupp

I am the Community Engagement Librarian as well as a Reference Librarian at the Chester County Library. I help the library by coordinating our outreach events as well as going out in the community to teach about the library. I also work as a co-supervisor of the Funding Information Network where I work to teach non-profits about grant seeking. My favorite thing about my job is getting to meet new people at the reference desk and helping them to find what they are looking for – it’s like detective work! I enjoy reading mysteries, young adult novels, histories of the United States and the presidents, and especially graphic novels! You can find me each month at our Comics Unbound Book Discussion!

When I’m not at the library, I’m cooking vegetarian foods, reading and collecting comics, listening to records, kayaking, hiking, or trying to get my three cats to stop knocking things over.
