Kathryn Hassert

I work in the Technical Services Department, where the new books are received, catalogued, and processed. I open the new boxes of books and get them ready for cataloging. I  worked at the Henrietta Hankin Branch circulation desk for more than four years before coming to CCL a year and half ago. I have also been a substitute teacher and corporate writer and editor.

My favorite authors include Barbara Kingsolver, Neil Gaiman, Richard Russo, Kate Atkinson, Tana French, Deborah Crombie, Terry Pratchett, Agatha Christie, Ngaio Marsh, … uh oh, there are too many to list. I love mysteries, novels, and non-fiction, and have recently re-discovered a love for fantasy and science fiction.
I also enjoy movies and television. I am currently a fan of Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries based on the books by Kerry Greenwood.

When I am not reading, I garden a little, quilt a little, craft a little, and cook a lot.
