Summer Reading Clubs on the Horizon!

The library staff at both libraries are busy making plans for our Summer Reading Clubs. The theme across all the clubs is Build a Better World. We can all improve our world whether we read a book to better understand the different cultures in our society or learn how to grow a vegetable garden and become less dependent on food shipped across the country. The opportunities are endless.
For the Adult Summer Reading Club, registration will begin on Monday, June 5th, at both libraries. This year we’ve designed a Bingo card on which participants will ‘X’ out squares as they read/listen to a variety of books or participate in activities. All the details will be available in June.
The Youth Services departments are also busy making plans. In Exton, registration will begin on Monday, June 5th. At the Henrietta Hankin Branch, registration will begin on June 12th. Reading through the summer is essential to keep children from losing reading skills through the summer months. Both libraries will have programming to engage the students throughout the summer. Check out the website soon for all the details.
We hope everyone will sign up and participate!! Adults get an opportunity to read for fun but also to try some new genres and learn more about the libraries. Children will have opportunities to attend special programs and weekly events to try new things and check out more books!!
