Soles4Souls Shoe Donation Drive

We recently installed a new book at our StoryWalk® in Exton Park (located at Swedesford Road and Church Farm Lane). Those Shoes by Maribeth Boelts, tells Jeremy’s heartwarming story of diversity in family structures, lack of economic funds, need vs. want, the importance of giving, and true friendship and is all beautifully illustrated by Noah Z. Jones.
Inspired by this book's theme of giving, we are excited to announce that we have joined forces with the nonprofit Soles4Souls this fall and are launching our own shoe donation drive this month to help break the cycle of poverty. During October 15th – November 15th, please consider bringing in new or 'very gently used' shoes of any kind or size to Chester County Library in Exton, where we will have a donation box set up in the library lobby near the front entrance. (We just ask that you please do not donate any dance or sports specific shoes like ballet slippers, tap shoes or cleats – sneakers or tennis shoes are great to donate though.)
If you don’t have shoes to donate, but still want to get involved you can visit https://soles4souls.org/4everykid/. Every dollar you give helps provide shoes for people who need them most, especially as we head into the colder months.
Please consider donating to this worthy cause if you are able. For any questions, please contact Niki Kolb at 610-334-5130 or via email at mkolb@ccls.org
