The Chester County Library’s Teen Library Crew will be filling and delivering holiday stockings to veterans at the Coatesville Veterans Medical Center in December!

From November 1 through December 8, there will be a box near the library’s front entrance to collect donated items for the stockings. All donated items must be small enough to fit in a holiday stocking that is 6” wide and 15” long.

Acceptable items for female veterans include socks, lip balm, body wash (no bar soap), body lotion, nail polish, hand cream, candy, cookies, crossword puzzle/word game books, and $5 or $10 gift cards to Wawa or Walmart.  

Acceptable items for male veterans include lip balm, hand cream, deodorant, socks, underwear, candy, cookies, crossword puzzle/word game books, and $5 or $10 gift cards to Wawa or Walmart.

Please put youe donations in the box at the greeter's desk near the front door of the library.  The teens and staff appreciate any donation you can give for this worthy cause.
