Money will be used to expand eMaterials collection

The Chester County Library Trust ensures the ongoing excellence and innovation in library services at Chester County Library in Exton, its branch library, and the District Center. As a District Center Library, the Exton location has a strong circulating and reference collection to provide a greater depth of library service and support for the 18 member libraries in Chester County. Funds generated from the Trust help to build collections, expand current services, provide new services, and support equipment and building improvements. Each year, the Chester County Library Trust Board determines where the greatest impact can be made.

Today, eMaterials are the most popular and growing library service. This includes materials like e-books, audiobooks, online databases, and Flipster. By providing $20,000 in support of eMaterials to the libraries, the Trust is promoting equal access to increasingly digital resources for everyone in the community.
