Meditation and Mindfulness for the Holidays
Attend a class on Meditation and Mindfulness presented by area Yoga Teacher and Yoga Therapist, Angela Megasko, RYT500. This class is perfect for those who are curious about meditation and those who are looking to be more mindful in their day to day lives. The quality of our lives really does depend on the choices we make. This class is about learning how to make those choices mindfully. What you will discover by attending this class:
•The 6 different types of meditation and how “one size doesn’t fit all” when it comes to meditating
•A few simple Yoga poses to do before you begin to meditate
•How being mindful in our choices contributes to feeling and being our best selves
•Why taking the time to get quiet each day matters to your overall health, especially during the holidays
Attending this class will help you manage holiday stress, so your new year starts off in a positive, productive way! Please bring a yoga mat, a blanket, and a bottle of water. This class will include lecture, breath work, simple Yoga movement and a meditation session at the conclusion of the class.
