Adult Summer Reading Program

Welcome to the Chester County and Henrietta Hankin Branch Libraries’ 2019 Adult Summer Reading Program!

"A Universe of Stories"

Adult Summer Reading will start on June 3rd and is open to all readers ages 18 and up. The registration period has closed for this summer's program.

Our handout this year has 25 different activities you can complete. Read and complete as many activities in each category as you can. You can download and print the handout here. For activities that involve books, any format (print, eBook or audiobook) is acceptable unless specified in the activity. Books should be at the adult or young adult reading level. Enter the title of the book you read on the line below the activity. Use each title only once.

Earn one raffle ticket for each activity checkbox you complete (up to 25 tickets). Book review forms are available online here (starting June 3rd) or you can pick one up at the Reference Desk at either library. If you write a review, you will earn a raffle ticket for that activity. Additionally, a Flipster handout will be given to you when you sign up.

Receive a sticker for each completed category.

Get a Grand Prize Raffle ticket by completing the highlighted option in each of the five categories. Each participant may earn only one Grand Prize raffle ticket.

Bring your card to the Chester County Library or Henrietta Hankin Library between July 15th and August 26th to receive your raffle tickets to enter for prize drawings.

Prize winners will be drawn on Tuesday, August 27th and will be notified by phone.

The Adult Summer Reading Club is made possible by generous donations from the Friends of the Chester County Library and the Friends of the Henrietta Hankin Branch Library, as well as local area businesses.
