Join director Shawn Swords who explores the tragic lives and deaths of 57 Irish immigrant railroaders and the immigrant contractor who exploited them while building Pennsylvania's pioneering railroad in 1832.The film provides unique insights into immigration, illness and industrialization. Explore the possibility that Duffy's Cut may have been the site of the largest mass murder in Pennsylvania history and the first in a series of genocidal exterminations of Irish immigrant railroad and canal workers.
